My Story

Little did I know how Christ would make a difference in my life. I became a Christian at age seven, and several months later, my mom left our family.  My dad raised my two younger brothers and me alone. As the only girl in my family, I often felt alone and unsure of myself; there were moments when I doubted my worth and whether anyone could love me. Time and time again, God has proven Himself faithful. He has often reminded me of His incredible love for me through the compassion and spiritual leadership of other Christians. While I attended Grace University, I experienced the joy of being mentored and discipling others. It has been a privilege to share the love that Christ has shown me with the women of the military since my arrival in Germany in 2006. On September 23,2011, Kyle Carnegie and I were married at North Pointe Community Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. We will remain in Germany until 2013/2014, where I will continue to work with the Design & Media department of Cadence Headquarters. I enjoy the creativity of my job, as well as, the opportunity to get to know all of the Cadence missionaries around the world as I read, pray through and design their newsletters. As an active duty military spouse, I also have the privilege of ministering through life to the military and their families in the Kaiserslautern Military Community.
