Rich grew up in a Hospitality House in Germany as the child of Cadence missionaries. As a young adult, he served as an intern with Cadence in Yokosuka, Japan, in Malachi Youth Ministries (now Cadence Student Ministries). Rich and Pamela met while attending Multnomah Bible College and married in 2003. Together they enjoy sharing the Gospel and their lives in the context of hospitality and over a home-cooked meal. They have two sons, Brad and Cole.
The Ellgens began their assignment in Europe as Hospitality House Directors in Nov 2011. They are so excited to invite the military community to know Jesus and share their lives with them.
