Ron and Susan’s Bio
Ron and Susan met at Sacramento Bible Institute, in California. Ron had just gotten out of the navy, where he had spent time at the Subic Bay (Philippines) Hospitality House. Because of his experiences and opportunities to grow there, he desired to go to Bible school and get more training in the word of God. After Ron and Susan graduated and were married, they moved to Indiana, where they received further training in Christian counseling at Grace College. In 1991 they moved to Denver, Colorado, with their two daughters so Ron could earn his Master’s Degree in Social Work at the University of Denver. While there, they found a church home at Bethany Evangelical Free Church, where many Cadence staff attended. At Bethany, Ron and Susan became friends with Dick and Margaret Patty, co-founders of OCSC-Cadence International and became interested in serving in Germany with the mission. It has been a special privilege for Ron and Susan to minister from 1998 to 2002 to the U.S. Army community in Darmstadt, Germany. Presently Ron & Susan are serving at the Christian Fellowship House in Ft. Lewis, Washington.
Christian Fellowship House Weekly Schedule
• Tuesday nights at 18:00: Dinner and Bible study
• Thursdays at 12:00: Lunch time, Bible study on North Ft. Lewis
• Saturdays: open to activities, work days, and just hanging out
• Sundays at 09:30 to 10:45: Chapel NeXt at Four Chaplains Memorial Chapel, Main Post (Contemporary service)
• Every 1st and 3rd Sunday at 12:30: lunch at the Christian Fellowship House after Chapel Call the house for directions and more information (253) 984-9510
