Their objective in ministry is to serve the U.S. military community through a hospitality house ministry, sharing their lives and living out their faith. They desire to lead people to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and challenge and encourage Christians to a deeper and more relevant walk with the Lord.

Biography of Tim & Rebecca Hawkins

They met at Pensacola Christian College and were married a year and a half later. After marriage, Rebecca worked for a long-distance telephone company, eventually reaching a senior management position. Tim worked as a residential designer and builder. In 1995, after a number of years of growth and activity at Grace Community Church in Pensacola, Florida, they began to desire to serve God in a full-time, vocational capacity. In early 1996 Tim accepted a position with Wycliffe Associates in Southern California while Rebecca worked with Mariners South Coast Church as a children’s ministry coordinator. What originally drew them to Cadence was their experience in Pensacola: opening their home, hosting Bible studies, and developing relationships with military people.
