From the President

Dear Friends,
Combat in Iraq may be over, but ministry is not. Fifty thousand troops remain in Iraq. Their families who are spread across military bases in Europe and the States need our support, love, and encouragement. The surviving friends and families of those who sacrificed their lives on behalf of our freedoms need our ongoing comfort and gratitude. Those 40,000 wounded military personnel need our thanks and encouragement—many of their lives are changed forever.
The effects of PTSD will go on for many years to come. The divorce and suicide rates have skyrocketed in the military. Families have been torn apart, and many, many military personnel are struggling with simply coping emotionally and mentally with what they have been through. They need our love and ministry more than ever.
Finally, the conflict in Afghanistan continues to rage and casualties continue to escalate in alarming numbers.
Cadence has always been there for our military. It’s what we do—it’s why we exist. Whether in times of relative peace or brutal conflicts, Cadence believes our soldiers, airman, sailors, and marines deserve our attention, our love, and our encouragement and support.
You believe this, too. It’s why you pray and give. We are so grateful for your partnership in this worthy cause.
Combat in Iraq may have been declared ended, but ministry to our military continues stronger and more vital than ever.
