Dave and Andrea met back in March of 2007. Andrea was working with Cadence Student Ministries in Wiesbaden, Germany. She had been there since February of 2004 only 9 months after she had graduated from Moody Bible. Dave had graduated Moody Bible and was living and working in Chicago. Dave and his roommate came to Europe to check out some ministries oversees. Andrea picked Dave and his roommate up from the airport and well the rest is history. Dave and Andrea were married in Colorado on June 16th, 2008. Two weeks later they flew to Okinawa, Japan to start working with Marine Corps Students.
