Bio of the Johnsons

The Johnsons spent five wonderful years of youth ministry in Wiesbaden, Germany, serving Army kids.  Then in October 2005 they went to Yokosuka, Japan, ministering to students whose parents are U.S. Navy personnel with the 7th carrier group stationed there.   In December 2008, the Johnsons returned to Germany to work as the Europe Field Directors for Cadence Student Ministries.  Their current role is to provide field leadership, pastoral care, mentoring and facilitation of large events for the team of youth workers in Germany. 

Nate graduated from Biola University, La Mirada, CA, in 1998 with a B.A. degree in Christian Education. Louise attended Multnomah Schol of the Bible in 1997 while majoring in Youth Ministry. They met in 1997 while both were working with the middle school youth group in Heidelberg, Germany. They were married on September 4th, 1999 in Ventura, CA. They also served as the middle school youth pastors at Bible Fellowship Church in Ventura, CA, before moving to Wiesbaden in September 2000. They have four children, Ellie, Kara, Krista, and Josh.
