Using our home as a base of operations, we work alongside the chaplains to evangelize and disciple the military men, women, and their families.

Biography of Skip & Ruth Main

Ruth is originally from Santa Cruz, California. She entered the Navy in 1971 as a Store Keeper. She accepted Christ as her Savior in November 1974 and married Skip in July 1975. After many years of being a navy wife, Ruth ministered at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center with Cadence from July of 1992 until September of 2003.

Skip is originally from a small town outside of Auburn, NY. He joined the navy in 1969 and retired as a Chief Petty Officer in 1991. Skip became a Christian shortly after joining the navy and was challenged by several of the OCSC/Cadence missionaries in many locations around the world. In June of 1992 he graduated from Columbia International University before going to minister at the Great Lakes Hospitality House working with the military stationed at Great Lakes.

In October, 2003, Skip and Ruth moved to Pensacola to minister there.

Wednesday - Chapel Bible study at the NAS chapel 5:30pm

Most Sundays after the chapel service, we enjoy lunch and fellowship with those who are available to go with us.  If you are in our area, please join us for lunch!

Monthly Events

2nd Saturday - chapel sponsored USO meal and fellowship 6:00pm 

3rd Saturday - Pizza & Video Night at the chapel 6:00pm
