Cadence Children’s Ministries

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there. Matthew 19:14-15

For ten years, Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) and Cadence International have partnered together through Military Children’s Ministry (MCM) to lead children to learn about and know Jesus Christ. Countless kids have professed a faith in Christ, memorized scripture and become witnesses to their family, friends, and community. While considering the future ministries opportunities, the Cadence leadership team decided that a separate children’s ministry within the military community would align with their commitment to reach adults, teens, and children in a holistic setting. Therefore, the CEF and Cadence partnership will be discontinued effective November 30, 2010. The current MCM programs and staff will transition to CEF leadership. CEF will carry on its mission to reach military children through the ministry of MCM. David Powell, along with mission leadership, is developing the launch of Cadence Children’s Ministries; which we anticipate to occur through 2011. As we move forward, we will continue to collaborate with CEF on projects; ensuring that Jesus is shared with military children around the globe.
