Betty has worked in Student Life at The Master’s College in Santa Clarita, CA, for many years as Associate Dean of Students and then as Director of Women’s Ministries. Currently she is Associate Professor of Biblical Studies, Women's Ministries.  She has kept in contact with Master’s graduates who became full-time Cadence missionaries and has gotten together with them whenever possible.
 
During the summers Betty has often participated in summer missions trips with students or with her church.  During those trips she has served in New York City, Baltimore’s inner city and the Navajo Reservation in Arizona.  Internationally, she was involved in summer ministry in Romania when its Communist dictator was in power and also in the Soviet Union, Russia, Ukraine, South Africa and Mozambique. At Moscow Theological Institute she taught two one-week intensive courses for Christian Ed students.
 
Betty completed her master’s degree in Biblical Studies and an additional year of graduate studies in Jerusalem.  She enjoys speaking at women’s retreats and other events.  She also leads women’s ministries at her local church and hosts a book club for some of her neighbors.
