Peter & Anastasia live in Littleton, CO, and have four adult children (Annelyse, Christina, Cara & Jon) and two grandchildren (Raelyn & Evie Rose). They are active members of Horizons Community Church in Highlands Ranch, CO, where Peter has led career development workshops and helps facilitate a men’s Bible study. Anastasia was recently appointed the Wedding Coordinator at Horizons and will be leading a women’s Bible study in the fall.
For over two years they have been a CARES Team for Apartment Life hospitality ministry. CARES Teams do things in an apartment community that flow naturally out of the Christian lifestyle - welcoming new residents, planning social functions, and caring in times of need all in service for Christ. Peter joined Cadence in June of 2008 after serving as the Director of 2nd Chance Program at DenverWorks, a Christian Ministry helping the disadvantaged find life-enhancing employment. Peter worked extensively with the Prisoner Re-entry population and helped secure several large government grants that represented a significant portion of the DenverWorks funding. Anastasia was born in Tokyo and was raised in a military family. She is currently employed as the Volunteer Coordinator with Volunteers in Action, a local Christian ministry that serves the community by providing Christians the opportunity to enhance the lives of people in need with the gift of a helping hand.
Anastasia has recently completed Candidacy and has a vision for helping get Military MOPs available to all moms on Military Bases. MOPs is an outreach to mother's of preschoolers and her heart is to reach out to them.
