We met and were married at RAF Lakenheath in 1975. Chuck was a Navigator in the F-4D and Susan was a Math Teacher for the Department of Defense Dependent Schools. We came to know OCSC (now Cadence) at Torrejon Air Base in Spain in 1983. Chuck retired from the Air Force in 1992 and worked as a psychiatric social worker for the state and the Air Force until 1999 and now does home studies for international adoptions. Susan continued to teach high school math until 2006 and now is a part-time GED teacher for the city of Hampton.  We have three children. Our oldest son Stephen and his wife Karen are the parents of Christian '08 and Joshua '09.  Stephen is flying Apache helicopters in the Army at Ft Bragg, NC.  He is currently in Afghanistan until fall of '12.  Our daughter Betsy is the mother of four (William '03, Patience '07, Dietrich '09, and Bronwyn '11) and married to Jeff Hedgpeth, an Air Force pilot.  They live in Las Vegas, Nevada.  James, our youngest, lives in Norfolk, Virginia, where he works as an auto mechanic and enjoys race cars.  In '09 we were at the Osan HH in Korea and at the North Country Hospitality House at Ft Drum, New York.  In 2010 we were blessed to minister to the troops at the Victory Villa Hospitality House in Rota, Spain during the summer and we spent the fall at Fellowship Ranch near Fort Leonard-Wood, Missouri.  In 2011 we returned to the North Country Hospitality House at Fort Drum in April and May, and worked at Victory Ranch, Ft Jackson, South Carolina in November-December.  We are looking forward to serving overseas soldiers and this ministry in 2012.
