Serve as a Hospitality House or Retreat Missionary: Qualifications
Ministry to the military can grow community in ways that are rarely experienced elsewhere in American culture. If you are a good fit and are able to pursue this ministry, you will be amazed at what you get to do and the connection and impact you will have in a military community for the sake of the Kingdom.
Qualifications for Service within Hospitality House / Retreat Ministry
To become Cadence Alpha (Career) Staff, here are the qualifications you must meet:
- A clear testimony and a current, vibrant faith relationship with Jesus Christ
- Active fellowship with a local church that will endorse your service with Cadence
- A heart for ministry to the military community
- Full agreement with Cadence Core Values and Doctrinal Statement
- Relevant training and/or ministry experience appropriate to the particular service assignment desired (Qualifications will vary between types of ministry)
- Completion of Cadence’s application and appointment process
- Willingness to raise one’s own financial and prayer support
Education/Training Qualifications to be a House or Retreat Ministry Director (Alpha Staff)
- Earned at least a bachelor’s degree
- Have completed at least 30 hours of college level Bible courses
- Attend our candidacy school
- Be qualified to be an elder
There are other ways to join Cadence ministry if, for example, you are a mature believer who would be considered to be an elder, but have yet to complete the educational requirements.
